We have had Deidre as a nurse for the past 9 years. She has been helping us through sedation for follow-up MRIs for the past 9 years since our son was born with cancer. Today she helped us reach a milestone- our first MRI without being sedated! It was a huge step and hurdle for our son. Deirdre has always had incredible patience and has always been prepared for what we needed to get through the sedation process as smoothly as we could. She always had a plan B ready if we needed, and was our savior in getting an IV started on the first try, even when our son was inconsolable. She is incredible with kids and we cannot begin to repay her for her incredible kindness and the amazing nurse she has been to our son.
