DeDe has been a nurse for 61 years and has worked in the Surgery Department for this hospital for 55 of those years. She is a part-time employee that has come out of retirement to help us in a time of need. For the last several weeks she has been running our board and filling in as our charge nurse. She has done a great job and is very dedicated to making sure everything gets done to the best of her ability. We would like to recognize her passion for our field and her drive to help in any way possible. I have seen DeDe comfort families when they were upset and I have seen her stand up for what she feels is right. We are very appreciative for DeDe and want her to know she has touched many lives in her lifetime of dedication.
