Denise consistently goes above and beyond for our patients. Recently, she was caring for a patient who resided at Grace Court (elder housing). The patient was very upset about coming in without her dentures. Denise offered to stop at the office at Grace Court on her way home to get the dentures. On the first attempt, no one was available to help her. So Denise worked her second 12 hour shift, left after work and was able to speak with manager of Grace Court. She obtained the dentures then came back to work to deliver the dentures. Needless to say, the patient was ecstatic.
This is just one example of Denise's determination to provide excellent patient care. She consistently works hard to make sure our patients are comfortable, happy, and healing as quickly as possible. She is truly an asset to our hospital. It is reassuring to see a nurse who, after 25 years, still loves and takes such pride in her work, every day.
