I am honored to nominate Desiree for the DAISY Award in recognition of her Exceptional care as an Operating Room nurse.

During a recent emergent situation, I felt Desiree went above and beyond. As the primary nurse, I faced a critical scenario where every second counted. I called Desiree for assistance, and she quickly and calmly responded. Her swift actions in obtaining help, retrieving the crash cart, assisting with the application of defibrillator pads during CPR, and coordinating ICU care were instrumental in the patient's care. Despite the urgency of the situation, Desiree's calm demeanor and quick thinking provided invaluable support. I am so thankful for her help.

Desiree is an outstanding nurse and team player. She pays close attention to details and is always there to help out her coworkers and make sure patients are taken care of. She is an extremely knowledgeable nurse making her an excellent preceptor and resource to those who are learning.
