Devyn was a godsend to us as a fabulous nurse to my 91-year-old mother. She could see that my mom was completely mentally aware of everything going on. My mom lives alone and still takes care of herself. The respect, patience, and diligence shown in every aspect of her job were evident. This was our third hospitalization, and we knew the drill. Devyn outshined all the nurses we had.

She even rescheduled her days off so she could be in the hospital on Day 4 because she cares so much about “her” patients.
 
I can see Devyn as a head nurse in the near future. She double-checked everything she did and made sure we knew everything she knew. She even called me one morning to tell me about a specific procedure my mom was having done because she knew how concerned I was. I honestly can’t say enough about this angel of a nurse. I know she is far above the norm and feel honored that my mom got to be one of her patients.

She has spoiled us for life!

She always had a smile and upbeat attitude, and you felt like you were her only patient. Before she left her shift, she made sure all supplies were on hand for the night. When I came in on her last morning before discharge, I knew she had been in the room while my mom was getting a test done. The bed was clean and freshly made, and the room looked perfect. All supplies folded and stacked neatly on a chair and even her table had been cleaned and all her personal things organized just how my mother would have put them.

She truly was and is a godsend.
