My beautiful wife D has had her share of medical problems and trips to the hospital. D arrived by ambulance to the Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus. Once she was seen in the ED she was admitted to the 2nd floor ICU. She was put under the care of Diana Broesicke RN. Diana took charge immediately to not only help stabilize D but provided comfort and support for me.
I believe she truly saved D's life. D was being taken to get an MRI of her brain when she developed difficulty in breathing. I was in the waiting room when I saw nurse Diana running with D's bed back to ICU. D had to be immediately intubated in order for her to breathe. I was impressed with Diana's knowledge and her skills. Her bedside manner, compassion, and empathy for D, for myself, and for our family is far beyond anything I have ever experienced before. You have an unbelievable RN working for Transmountain Campus. I will never forget her and the job she did for our family. The entire staff in ICU was first class and I would like to offer my sincere appreciation to everyone who was involved with D's care.
