Even under the most stressful and agitated states with a PWS patient, Diana always presents a calm and caring demeanor. She is a model of how to interact appropriately under any circumstances with the patients and it is palpable how much she cares to help them heal regardless of each individual's issues. I have seen her decompress a number of hostile situations recently without any hint that this was causing her stress or discomfort. Although one could say she makes this look easy, I am sure it is not. As physicians it is frequently easy for us to see a patient briefly and walk away while the nurse stays in that stressful environment for her full 8 or 12 hours. Diana makes this look like an enjoyable task depite even the most difficult situations and takes initiative to interact and redirect patients to more preferrable interactions and activities.
