This email is about Diane Karam RN in the CSSU, she was my Nurse when I came out of the Cath Lab... The care and comfort Diane gave me was truly outstanding.

It’s an all-day process in CSSU post stent placement, and while she was busy, Diane’s level of care for me remained exceptional throughout the entire day right up until signing me out and her shift ending in the evening. 

I have a serious chronic illness (along with coronary heart disease), and over the last 20-plus years, I have been in and out of a different Hospital on Long Island before switching all of my care over to Northwell. This leaves me in this position to say the care given by Nurses is absolutely critical to the patient's recovery & well-being.  

I realize I’m not special, and I know the care Diane gave to me is the same care she gives to all her patients, which makes her one very special nurse!
