I have been a long time wound care patient. Last year a new friendly face joined the wound care team, Dianna. I remember Dianna and she remembers me. I am more than a patient or a number. Dianna demonstrates expertise, complemented by sincere care and concern. Dianna is very compassionate and I look forward to my visits because I feel good about the care I receive. Dianna ensures my education despite my language. My native language is Russian, some providers do not take the time to understand my "hard accent" which limits my participation in my plan of care and limits my understanding. Dianna often makes recommendations and addresses my holistic needs as a patient, all while taking time and care to ensure my understanding and comfort level...and she is always smiling.
