...The entire nursing staff was great, however Dianne Fuhs stands tall in the care she took of me and my wife. Dr. B did an outstanding repair on my body. Dianne helped finish the healing process by giving me the best care anyone could receive. Dianne is a warm loving person and must love her job. I was in room 944 next to the ice machine and the head nurses station. I could overhear her willingly help other nurses with questions they had. She was constantly checking in on me. Rarely did I ever need to call for assistance when she was on duty. I was blessed to have Dianne two days of my five-day post surgery stay. She rarely called in someone else to do the trivial tasks. She was there for me! In the two short days my wife and I feel she is a true friend forever.
When being discharged I didn't get to have an official goodbye because transfer took me down the opposite side from where she was working. I asked if I could say my goodbyes and was told "your wife will be waiting for us". After going through two large white doors that opened to 3 or 4 elevators, I heard behind me "wait you can't leave without a hug and saying goodbye." Yes it was Dianne! It was such an emotional moment I could hardly speak. Thank you Dianne, for always showing you cared for us.
