I went to school with my partner, I released the seat belt to put my things away and due to the poor road conditions, the vehicle overturned, I was thrown out of the window, suffering serious fractures to my spine and collarbone. ​

At the Hospital, they told me that a screw had touched my spinal cord, causing loss of sensation in my extremities. The day my operation was due, they found a bacteria and isolated me, which aggravated my anguish and plunged me into a deep despair of not understanding what was happening. I went into a hole. Everything became dark; I fell into a hole, and I couldn't get out of it until my nurse, Diego, showed up to help me recover. With his positive energy and warmth, he offered me a ray of hope: “I'm Diego, your nurse tonight,” he told me with a smile. From that moment on, he became a shining figure in my life. His attitude, his ability to tell jokes, and his constant support transformed my experience. ​

Without exaggerating his good treatment, his joy, and his professionalism gave me the desire to live and to get ahead. He not only had excellent treatment with me, but also with my mother who accompanies me. ​
