"Singing Happy Don!"
Some people go into nursing and are very very good at what they do, and then there is Don. This man is beyond a very very good nurse. He is exceptional. He was always helpful, always kind, and ready to help no matter what! No job was "below" him. This man is very unique and unusual, in that he seems to be doing his job for the love of it, not for the money. He is a person who genuinely cares and is kind to all. I saw him interact with other nurses, doctors, and employees and he was always kind. I wish we could fill up our world with people like Don. He would sing hymns for my parents and they loved it. In the midst of all his kindness, he has a true ability in his job and he was also knowledgeable. He told us funny stories and shared things about himself making us feel a connection to him. We felt (even though we knew better), that my dad was the only patient he was caring for! We loved him! We thank you for employing caring, loving, and capable nurses and creating an environment that makes them want to stay! Some people are lucky enough to know their calling in life and Don has his!! He was born to be a nurse! He is making a living and having fun while doing so. His happy personality shines in everything he does. WE LOVE DON!
