Donna has a clear genuine passion for nursing, and consistently goes above and beyond in the clinical setting. She has an eagerness to learn as much as she possibly can while maintaining a compassionate and empathetic manner. Each week she took the time to sit with her patients, listen to them, and advocate on their behalf. One week in particular, Donna was able to form a connection with her patient where none of the staff nurses could. She did this simply by sitting in the patient's room, giving them her undivided attention, truly listening to them and empathizing with them, and developing trust. While this day stood out to me, it really is just one example of Donna's caring and dedicated nature as a future nurse.
