Donna was my exceptional nurse when I came to RMH for outpatient surgery for cataract removal. I have hearing loss in both ears, so Ms. Donna spoke louder so I could hear what was going on with the prep work. Also, at times, I get confused and ask a lot of questions, which tends to annoy people, but not Ms. Donna. She was so nice, kind, caring, and professional, and she repeated a lot of information so I could understand. I felt very peaceful, relaxed, and safe as Donna collected all the information needed. I could tell she had a lot of experience and loved her job. I asked her when she was going to retire & she said, “Well, no time soon,” with a big smile. It’s so refreshing to hear such a positive attitude amidst all the COVID-19 tragedy. May the blessings of God be on this compassionate nurse named Donna Blank.
