Donna Brown went out of her way to get me a diet 7Up. The cafeteria did not have it. She went across the street just to get me a diet 7Up, but they did not have it either. Donna had had her daughter pick it up from the supermarket. After receiving a less than ideal diagnosis, Donna made my day.

Coming to the hospital is already frustrating but having great people taking care of you makes all the difference, which brings me to this nurse, an awesome nurse as well as individual, Donna Brown. With my husband battling cancer, I can't tell you what a strain this has been on me, but she was warm, welcoming and positive.
My husband was admitted for an overnight stay. He was scheduled to have chemo but the doctor said he had pneumonia and couldn't do the treatment. Because of my husband's condition, I was devastated because he really needed the treatment. Donna assured me that everything was going to work out and allowed me to cry on her shoulder. She had such compassion and I love her for that.
After my husband was better, we came back to the hospital for the treatment. When I was told the Donna was going to be our nurse for the treatment I felt that we had already won. I have never experienced such a loving and caring individual in the hospital. Not only did she go the extra mile, but she was thorough and explained everything so that I fully understood everything that was going on. From day one Donna has entered the room with a positive attitude and a great smile. She made me and my husband relaxed. When we were told that she was going to be our nurse for the day while my husband went through the transfusion we felt that we had the victory and was totally blessed by their presence. Thank you! You are not only our DAISY, but our platinum rose. No one deserves to be honored more than you. My husband and I will always be grateful to Donna for showing and sharing such love to us.
