Doreen washed my mom, took her for a walk, talked to my mom and my family. She put everyone at ease.
My mother is currently in SICC, as she had major surgery and had some complications after surgery. She also suffers from anxiety, which we as a family try to emotionally help her cope with. It’s been a rough week at night which is when she gets most anxious. Yet last night, my family got to stay with her until 10:30, as they had permission to. They met Doreen. They were so thankful. She washed my mom, took her for a walk, talked to my mom and my family. She put everyone at ease. This morning, I came in and my mom was in deep sleep. She had her Carmex on and relaxing/soothing sounds/music in the background. This was the first night my mom slept through the night. I didn’t get to meet this RN. Yet all of her actions impacted my family and me positively. Thank you for caring, thank you for what you do. Angels do exist and you are one.
