Doreen Farrar started working at the University of Washington 30 years ago and has worked 13 years in the Pediatric Care Center here at Roosevelt. She is described by her co-workers as caring, kind and compassionate. Doreen is a wonderful resource for parents and is always willing to help and remembers many details about the family's lives. Doreen engages the children in the clinic setting and helps them to relax for difficult or uncomfortable procedures. She is always calm and re-assuring to parents and their children. Our Medical Director adds "Doreen continues to hold the record for answering the most phone calls from parents in a single day- on one December day she answered 70 calls!"

As a co-worker, Doreen is easy to get along with, is noted for a great sense of humor, her ability to keep things fun and she has a great laugh. Thank you, Doreen, for your valuable contributions to the Pediatric Care Center.
