Doug Beckman always had time to explain tests and meds even if my mother could not understand. Always had time for my questions. Always held mom's hand. The thing that impressed me the most was he took my father home after work. He said no problem, it was on his way. I found out that Branson West is not on his way the next day from a staff member. Doug actually lives in Arkansas, opposite way from Branson West. Always smiling and giving the aides help. He found a phone charger for me when my phone went dead. What a comfort knowing he was taking care of mom each day.

My wife got the best care from him. He took the time to explain things to us. He printed off my diagnosis and medications and stayed after his shift was over to explain things to me and my daughter who couldn't get there until 7:10 pm when his shift ends at 7pm.
He also got chocolates for my wife. He really made her day along with the orange sherbet shake he made for her. Doug always had a smile for my wife and a good word. He made her feel special and like she was his only patient. He brought me coffee without me asking for it and remembered what I took in it. Now that is going the extra mile. He took care of me as well as my wife. He always asked if I was eating and getting rest, he's so genuine in his approach.
