Doug is very compassionate, kind and knowledgeable. He talked to my son directly and explained everything in detail, and he and came out every hour of the seven-hour surgery like he promised and explained to us about the surgery and where they were in the procedure's progress. At the end of the surgery, my son had a complication.
Doug was right there and was a lifesaver. I can't thank him enough for the care and attention he gave my son. This was a very difficult time for our family and it could have been so much worse if it wasn't for Doug's dedication and expertise. We are so grateful for the time and care he gave our son. He even came and checked on him when he was in the intensive care unit. Johns Hopkins All Children's is very lucky to have Doug on their team.
