My Mom is often a patient in our hospital. She has always been a strong person and very proud. At this time in her life, she is experiencing things that she never thought she would. She has to ask for help to the point of humiliation. One day, during her hospital stay, an amazing nurse named Earline took care of my mom. Earline was always there every time she asks for help. She took care of my mom in such a special way and made her comfortable and feel better. Earline was very kind and caring. When I visited my mom on Saturday morning in her room, I literally felt the knot in my stomach loosen for the first time in weeks. She took care of me on that day too. She not only made my mom feel better but she gave me the first peace that I have felt in weeks. Earline is a very special person and deserves to be recognized. I am so proud to call Earline a colleague and I know that she is taking care of our community.
