Ebonee Gordon consistently shows a positive attitude and caring spirit with her patients and families. Ebonee had bonded with a patient and her family while they were on our unit. The husband was so appreciative of the care that Ebonee gave to his wife that he would stop by and give updates after she left our unit. The patient has been extremely ill over the last few months with frequent hospitalizations. The husband stopped by one day to let us know that "momma" was back and she wasn't doing well. Ebonee went to the gift shop and purchased a card, plant and balloon for her in order to cheer her up. She also noticed that the husband was a little down, so she brought him lunch from the bistro.

Actions like this show Ebonee's true passion for making a connection with her patients and families. Ebonee truly makes a difference and should be recognized.
