My mother was admitted to the hospital for a very bad fall. She needed surgery, due to breaking her hip. Nurse Elin was extremely compassionate and attentive from day one. The main reason I want to recognize Elin is because of the serious situation that took place. Towards the last few days of my mother being there, she started experiencing severe heart problems. She had trouble breathing and even had a slight fever that for some reason, the monitor didn't even show. I believe that if it was any other nurse, they would have just given her Tylenol or pain meds. Nurse Elin knew something was extremely off, so right away she grabbed a doctor who was nearby. She saved my mother from having a stroke! This was my first time ever going to PSJMC, but if I personally ever needed medical attention in the future, this is the hospital I would choose to be at. Thank you nurse Elin for everything you did for my family and really going the extra mile, to keep us calm and collected during a very had time.
