Eloisa deserves the DAISY Award for being Extraordinary every day. Eloisa has worked with HCA for 28 years, and she always comes in with a smile no matter what. Her positive attitude exudes throughout her unit in the ICU. She never complains about any assignment that is given to her and does her job to take care of her patients as needed.

As an experienced nurse, she is always willing to take care of critically ill patients due to the needs of the unit with staffing and newer nurses scheduled. During these difficult times throughout the year, Eloisa has volunteered to float to the ER to help with patients who have been holding in ER due to bed capacity. Eloisa a great nurse with a lot of years of experience under her belt, and she spreads all that knowledge as a preceptor to new nurses as well. She makes a point to make sure all new nurses know about the proper policies, procedures, and protocols in the ICU. She is a great team player and helps the unit out with staffing when it is needed. She is very caring, and it shows with the care she gives her patients, but her unit as well. Eloisa is extraordinary every day, and through these trying times, everyone needs an Eloisa smile to brighten their day.
