During the early days of our stay, Emely dedicated a large portion of her time to attending to our son as we struggled with a very difficult situation. My son was in a critical stage. She took time to learn of his fears and would spend extra time with him. She listened, provided empathy, and gave realistic reassurance, thus calming him down when he was very anxious.  

She would also come in so I could step out and get some time to myself briefly. Emely even took time to come to visit him when he was sent back to GICU for a respiratory event.  

Emely was on her way home and stopped by to say good night, but she saw me cleaning my son, and she came in to assist me. This kind of compassion and caring is “exceptional” and sets her above the norm.
