Emilia has been a Charge Nurse for the past ten years but she still goes out of her way to seek the knowledge she needs by attending lectures, courses, and symposiums to better herself in providing more quality care for her patients. She is compassionate and kind not only to her patients but to all the members of her patients' family.
She is conscious of her patients' distress, suffering, and she always gives time talk to them and patiently explains to them their due treatment and why treatment is needed. She would always go out of her way to make them feel comfortable during their stay in the hospital and most of all, she always tries her best to alleviate their anxiety by staying with them and making her rounds every now and then and whenever she is free not only to give their meds but just to ask them if they are okay and if they need anything.
All patients and their families can approach her anytime and she always keeps a smile on her face even under pressure. She treats all her patients with great compassion and patience and positivity. She's a great example of dedication and loyalty in her work.
