I would like to nominate Emily H. who worked the PM shift during my stay in the hospital after I lost my infant daughter. She was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in answering all of my questions, to which I had many.  After having such devastating and tragic news, Emily came across as genuine and authentic in a situation that many people, even some trained healthcare professionals, find awkward and uncomfortable. Although all the nurses during my stay were wonderful and professional, Emily's sincere expression of concern for me as a patient both physically and emotionally singled her out as an exceptional and professional caregiver who has not only been trained well and thoroughly but seems to truly enjoy working with people. Emily went above and beyond the call of duty and really helped me cope during my hospital stay.  I will never forget how she made my tragic week better just by being there and doing what she does. She truly has been blessed with a gift to handle with ease some of the most trying situations. There are many people who go to work and punch a clock, but I believe caring for others is Emily's true calling, and it was a blessing to have her as my nurse.  I will never forget her kindness and forever be grateful for her help. Thank you, Emily.  May God continue to bless you and others that you help, and may there be many.
