Emily has been nothing less than a great friend, adopted family member, and overall great person and nurse. Since I saw her last, she has only become more experienced and polished.
I am a World War II and Korean War Veteran and have been around the block. I have become "wisdomized" through the years. I want to express my very deep thoughts about one of your nurses here at Winchester Hospital.
Her name is Emily Kay. Here at Winchester, my doctor performed my emergency surgery. Again, with great knowledge and expertise, literally saving my life.
I had an outstanding nurse/caregiver that was above all the rest of the capable nursing staff.
Emily took such excellent and comforting care of me here 2.5 years ago, so much so, that I knew I would never forget her. She became like my own granddaughter. I had very deep feelings for her. She made my stay so very comfortable as if I were in a second home.

Emily is a fine young girl with so many nice qualities. I would like to list a few:
* Very pleasant
* Great, warm smile
* Conscientious
* Fantastic bedside manners
* Polite and sincere
* Quite knowledgeable about nursing
* Willing to help patients or other staff in any way
* When I called her, she came running
* She was strict on safety precautions
* She was full of energy, charisma, and attentiveness during her full 12 hours shift
I could go on and on, but I think you get the message. In my few stays at Winchester, I have had many great nurses, but one is head and shoulders above the rest. That nurse is Emily Kay.
