I have to say that she is the best nurse I have ever encountered; she makes you feel heard. She reminds you that there are still good people in this world and that there is still hope in humanity. Most nurses are there to collect a paycheck, or at least that is how they show themselves to be; Emily deserves this award by far.

Emily from ER was beyond sweet and caring for my toddler son. He is Autistic and Emily was so patient with him that my son was able to cooperate with her a lot more. She even made him smile even though he was uncomfortable with nausea and diarrhea. We appreciate her willingness to follow through, whether it be with labs, snacks, or questions.

My daughter, 2 years old, and I were in the emergency room on Saturday morning; Emily was the nicest human who helped us. She made sure not only my daughter was okay and comfortable but that I was too. She noticed that I was pretty worked up; she offered to sit with my daughter so I could clean myself up in the bathroom, and she brought me water. I really appreciate her work and kindness; she made a bad situation better.
