Emily’s efforts in teaching emulate the very core of Xavier’s Mission and Values. Her leadership and teaching spirit come naturally as a part of who she is as a nurse and clinical instructor. She provides honest evaluations and seeks meaningful feedback for student growth . . . Emily provides individualized time and attention in every setting demonstrating that she is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that concepts are understood, and skills mastered . . . participates in collaborative efforts to make improvements . . . took the initiative to create a preceptor log form for tracking clinical visits. Emily constructed a lab orientation manual binder that assists other adjuncts who participate or substitute in the clinical laboratory. Students express that Emily was one of the best, if not the best, clinical instructors.
