At HMH our team strives to provide the highest level of care to our patients, and one way of achieving this is by implementing a documentation system to meet the changing demands of healthcare. At Riverview Medical Center, Epic EMR was instituted on June 1, 2019. There were 66 members of the nursing team who trained as super-users and learned the new system first, to safely transition from the old EMR to the new Epic. During go-live, they went above and beyond, working all hours of the day and night for weeks to ensure a smooth transfer for their patients and their peers. We are so happy to recognize them for selfless contributions to patients, peers, and the RMC community.
