The recovery room is very busy, and he handled all tasks with so much comfort and ease. The care he provides is above and beyond, all while remaining so jovial.
Eric was most attentive during my recovery. He took his time to help me be comfortable in my bed and was patient with me every time I had a random question. Eric knew that I needed to urinate, and I felt embarrassed about having to use a bedpan. He was so professional and careful in helping me position myself to use the bedpan with as much dignity as I could. He was reassuring at every point of my recovery.
He saw that I barely ate any of my food and consistently checked on me to get me to eat some of it. I also saw clearly that he gave the same gentle care to the other patients that I could see in recovery. I never felt like a bother. His bedside manner was simply genuine.
Upon my discharge, he double-checked with me to ensure our information matched with respect to whom was waiting downstairs to pick me up. He made it a point to say goodbye to me and wish me well upon our parting. I also noticed how seamlessly he worked with his colleagues. He seemed to be a delight to all who interacted with him.
I had so many questions about what was normal to feel at the moment and about my pressure, and his assurances gave me peace of mind to be able to rest as needed. He may have simply been doing his job, but from my vantage point, Eric was doing his job with love and care for his patients and his colleagues.

I hope many patients experience such an optimal level of care when needed from Eric and others like him. He made the recovery from a hard surgery unexpectedly pleasant, and I am grateful to him. Thank you.
