My husband and I walked into the hospital feeling completely out of our element. He suffers from severe anxiety and my water had broken, so I was quite the mess. Erica met us in triage where she cleaned me up and somehow put my husband at ease. She never pushed him to talk or joked about him sweating, she just included him in the process of taking care of me. Her stories about her family and awesome sense of humor combined with her warmth made what could have been a very stressful day memorable and amazing. She stayed until we were transferred to recovery even though her shift was over. I truly don't know what I would have done without her. There's just not enough room here to include all the examples of how incredible she is. I knew her for 10 hours and I could go on about this for days!
