Erica Ferro showed extreme compassion and made sure to always check in on me throughout her shift and before she left at the end of her shift. I had a major surgery. Erica was always walking into my room at the exact time my meds were due. I never had to call her. She checked in so often I never had to call to request any of my PRN meds because it was as if she had a sixth sense. She would pop into my room and say, "Just checking on you to see if you need anything."
I was told by my doctor to try to get some fresh air to help calm down my anxiety. Since I was alone, and going to walk down and go outside for some sunlight and air, Miss Erica gave me her cell phone number so I could text her when I got down and outside and then again asked me to text her when I was on my way back up and once I returned to my room. She always spent extra time with me, just chatting and helping me to calm down when my anxiety had me burst into tears for no reason. She went above and beyond one hundred times over!!!
