The other day we had a very busy shift with multiple laboring patients. Erica, as usual, was helping with patients in addition to her assignment. We had a patient come in who needed an urgent C section, but didn't have anyone to watch her small child.

Erica stayed past her shift to watch the child, allowing the dad to go into the C-section with his wife.
