Erica Gonzalez always has a smile to give, is helpful with simple and complex patients and always goes the extra mile to help with admissions, no matter how busy the unit might be. She always has an excellent listening ear when there are patient or family hurdles, and manages staff and resources effectively. I am very glad to be a part of a team with Erica.

Erica just recently became our clinical coordinator and has been our frequent charge nurse for a while. She is fabulous in juggling so many tasks for everyone in the unit. You can see how frustrated she could become but she always has a smile and a helping hand while being pulled in a million different directions. We are so lucky to have her!!!

I would like to nominate Erica. She is such a kind hearted person. She is one of the best charge nurses we have ever had. Even in stressful situations, she says calm and takes charge. When we need an extra hand with procedures, she stops what she is doing, to help us. Throughout the day she rounds on us and asks if we need anything. She brings up morale by thanking us for "doing a great job." Even after a long, difficult day, I feel like everything was "okay" because I had her standing behind me. If you need a model by which to train other charge nurses, it would be Erica. Thanks for all you do Erica!
