The Behavioral Health Unit moved to our new home last week, and it was a lot different than the hospital move. We moved the patients and the unit at the same time, so there was a lot going on all at once. It was quite hectic and I have to say that Erin from Informatics was the only person who, when called, stopped everything she was doing and came to the North Campus to our rescue! She not only came to help with Epic-related issues but anything and everything she heard or witnessed while she was here.

She was here Wednesday-Friday to help with ongoing issues related to the move. On Friday, Erin took it upon herself to leave her cell phone number for staff to call her with any IT-related needs and she would put in any IT help desk tickets if she could not fix it. WOW!

Beyond that, the nurses on the floor were trying to de-escalate a patient and Erin knew they could not just stop to do the tele-visit with the admission. Erin took it upon herself to do a tele-visit with a new admission and the hospitalist. WOW, again! Erin showed the true meaning of "We are all in this together" and never hesitated once to help beyond her Informatics scope. She truly was one of the calms in my chaos and I am truly grateful for her and her help.
