All nurses are not like Evanna. Her compassion and kindness along with her vast knowledge of everything I was going through made my stay here so much better than it could have been. I had an angio tube and was so scared as I had a fever and chills. I previously went septic on a prior occasion. She calmed me down, checked on me constantly. I could go on and on, she is that awesome.

Evanna remembered me from my past surgeries and all the problems that came with them. She said, "I know your birthdate better than my own," which I thought was funny. She always stopped to listen to my concerns and explaining to me everything I had been through. Comforting me when I was worried or scared about current symptoms that were leading me to think I was getting worse. She cheered and complimented me on all the baby steps leading to recovery. I'm not there yet, but Evanna is a gem in her field. I was so very lucky to have her through the worst days after surgery, the most important days when everything is touch and go. She is a ray of sunshine through any patient's cloudy day.
***
Most unique, remarkable nurse I ever met. I've been hospitalized every year and she is the greatest ray of sunshine during my visit. She is always figuring out what she can do next to make the patient smile, maybe a bow in her hair or just sitting at the bedside for a minute when you need it. Evanna renders the most tender and caring treatment you will never forget.
