Faith was excellent! As it started to become evident, my sister was declining and probably nearing palliative care, I could see as a caregiver myself. Faith recognized needs others did not. She went above and beyond to make her comfortable and communicated with the whole team, especially her doctor. But Faith was amazing and during times of short staffing requiring the nurse to also do nurse aide duties.

My sister’s hospitalization was for 12 days. She went to a swing bed at Caldwell County Hospital, then home, where she passed away.

Faith also caught a problem with her insulin orders, which helped. She had not been on her long-acting insulin.

I was admitted after a cardiac event. Faith went above and beyond in taking care of me and providing assistance to my family. Before my procedure, Faith stopped and prayed with me and my family. Faith demonstrates what it means to have faith in humanity and Christianity. She made this experience feel welcoming and made sure every thought was heard. Faith is a true testament to the philosophy of Florence Nightingale.
