Fathiyah’s story of good deeds is an eye-opener and inspiration to each and everyone here in KFSH-D.
I nominated Ms. Fathiyah Asiri for her heroism, in which she voluntarily donated part of her liver to one of our Pediatric patients, and she does it without hesitations. I knew it was her dream 2 years back to be an organ donor, for any person or patient that needs it. I know words are not enough to appreciate how she put others' lives before her own, recognizing the potential risk of her sacrifices made her an angel for all of us here in B5 General Pediatric.

Extending and saving a life of an 11-month-old child by giving a part of her liver, which we all knew from our heart that such action and deeds are proof of being selfless, which is a description of Fathiyah, yes she is selfless, dedicated to her profession, a person full of compassion for everything that she does. Fathiyah does not only represent B5 General Pediatric but the entire Nursing department, and we are proud and grateful for her bravery, courage, and heroic deeds, saving and extending one’s life deserves all the appreciation from this world.

Fathiyah’s story of good deeds is an eye-opener and inspiration to each and everyone here in KFSH-D, the first staff who donated an organ to save someone’s life, and as I heard from most of the Physicians and Nurses, “before it was just their dream to be an organ donor, but with Fathiya’s story, they knew it’s possible”.
