When my father finally passed, he came into the room and, of course, gave his condolences, but he also printed out my father's last heartbeat for my family, which was more than sentimental for us all.
My father was admitted to the ICU. I got to the hospital around 9 pm, and Ricky was his nurse.
Ricky was respectful and very informative every step of the way. He ensured that he explained anything that he did to us.
After we took my father off Bipap because he was on hospice, the family and I wanted to stay until he passed away, and Ricky ensured that we were all comfortable. He went out of his way by grabbing three recliners and plenty of blankets and pillows for us to be comfortable while we waited.

Ricky even stayed after his shift ended to help the next shift’s nurse prepare my father for the funeral home.
The ICU nurses that I had for the last three days of my father's life were incredible, but Ricky really stood out after the actions he took prior to and after my father’s passing.
You can tell that he loves taking care of these extremely sick patients and their families. Once more, thank you for your compassion and for the care, Ricky!
