My sister was on the oncology floor for about 10 days. Gabby became my sister's night nurse after just a few days on the floor. On the third day, she took a turn for the worse. When Gabby was her nurse he never rushed her and made sure she was as comfortable as possible. Gabby always checked her colostomy bag. One night he noticed it was full of air. He tried to get to the bedside commode before it popped but didn't make it in time. While he had her on the commode he changed her bed, cleaned her up so gently and tenderly, replaced her bag and her gown. We really appreciated Gabby for this care of my sister.
