Gabby is such a competent, caring nurse, who always does the right thing for our patients and doctors, and does it in a timely fashion. No matter how busy she is, or how much of a burden she carries during the day, Gabby always makes patient care her top priority. She handles complex problems efficiently, calmly and always, with a smile on her face. She sets a great example for her nursing staff, as she demands the same from herself as she does from them.
Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence have made it a pleasure to work with her, often during trying times. Her interaction with patients, referring physicians and colleagues always leaves them with the knowledge that they will be well taken care of. She is equally comfortable dealing with patients, nurses, doctors or administrators. When I present her with a clinical or administrative problem, Gabby makes me feel that this is her top priority and does her utmost to solve it. This is most appreciated by everyone who interacts with her.
Gabby brings out the best in those around her and sets a wonderful example for the Radiology nursing staff as well as other members of the department. The technologists, tech aides, clerks, transporters- in short, everyone who works with her- know that she brings her best to the job every day and they know they can depend on her to get it right.
She and I have worked together for many years developing the cardiac CTA program at BHMC, and I can honestly say that without her, this program would probably not exist. She has taken on this added responsibility with her usual efficiency and competent manner, and its success is largely due to her efforts. On a personal note, Gabby is a pleasure to work with- she always displays a pleasant demeanor and looks like she enjoys her job. I think that trait truly inspires others around her to do their best and emulate her attitude.
Gabrielle would be a real asset to any Radiology Department, and we are fortunate to have her with us. I know that you are very proud of the work she does, and I am grateful to be able to work with such a caring professional. I have been in radiology practice for almost 37 years, and I can tell you that Gabby is one of the finest radiology nurses I have ever encountered. It is a privilege to be able to work with her, and I look forward to continuing to do so.
