Our daughter refused to eat for several days, but Ginny's positivity reassured my husband and me to trust the recovery process.
We had the pleasure of having Ginny as our nurse for several days while our 11-month-old daughter was in the hospital recovering from surgery. Ginny was the first nurse to greet us in the unit when we transferred there from the recovery unit. She wanted to make our daughter comfortable right away by putting on a movie, and she brought a rocking chair and fan to our room. Our daughter refused to eat for several days, but Ginny's positivity reassured my husband and me to trust the recovery process. When our daughter started to feel better, Ginny brought out a wagon so we could walk our daughter around the unit. She was always willing to move the IV machine and bag anytime our daughter wanted to go for a ride. While we weren't planning to stay in the hospital as long as we did, Ginny made the experience more manageable and pleasant.
