She was the most caring nurse I’ve ever had, and I’m more than grateful to have had her as my Labor and Delivery nurse for my first baby.
I went into Mount Sinai due to contractions and later found out that I would be staying and was possibly having my baby that day. I was brought to my room where I met my nurse, Giselle “Gigi”. She was the most caring nurse I’ve ever had, and I’m more than grateful to have had her as my Labor and Delivery nurse for my first baby. She made my experience something I would’ve never imagined. She was such an amazing nurse, and you could tell she’s truly passionate about what she does. She was so full of life and was just such a happy person in general. She had such an uplifting spirit with her, truly the sweetest. She made me feel so safe and comfortable during my stay. Gigi held me and wiped my tears while I was getting my epidural, and I’ll never forget that. She definitely left a mark on my heart, and I will forever remember her. She made sure she made my baby girl her first hat with a bow on it, and later that night my baby girl was born. Till this day, 2 months later, I think about her daily and I hope she’s doing well!

She went above and beyond to help me deliver my baby girl, from getting me anything I needed to be comfortable, to advocating and believing in me, and helping me have the natural delivery that I wanted. Not only that, but when I thought I had given up and was so tired, she gave me words of encouragement and let me know I was so close to finally meeting my baby. Thanks to her, my baby girl is finally in my arms.
