Greta is the most committed to patient care of any nurse I have ever met and continuously goes above and beyond with her care coordination, notes, texts, reminders, social work, bedside manner, education, laughter & advocacy. She always advocates for policy change & patient safety. Most recently, we had a patient experiencing many social stressors & health concerns during her pregnancy. Greta worked daily for many months to talk directly with the patient, direct her to services in town, coordinate with Medicaid, institute care plans w PAMC MFM docs, coordinate outpatient care (3-4x week) w/ SPH OB GYN, CNM, Lab, Infusion, ER & OB clinics to address the patient's health concerns in addition to alleviating her social stressors (childcare, transportation, food security, finances).
