I have been a patient here at Three Rivers and have a few more days to go before my discharge. As always, there is one person who stands out, a "Leader of the Pack" so to say.
Many Asante staff members have been in and out of my room the past few weeks and Mrs. Gretchen by far is the one special, unique individual for me. Her dedication to her patients, fellow co-workers, and peers shows her obvious love for her vocation. She is a blessing and an example for all. I must admit I will miss her smile, her sternness, and fantastic attitude. Mrs. Gretchen has touched my life in a special way. She has gone above and beyond all points for the "DAISY Award" in my opinion. I would describe her as the "Mother of the Medical Staff" and displaying this outstanding attitude is how she stands out, in her field.
