Gretchen, one of our nurses in our critical care unit was recently nominated by the family of her patient. Her nomination stated:
“Gretchen is an outstanding nurse. My father was hospitalized on two occasions in the last two weeks. She was my father’s assigned nurse on his first visit, and she gave him and our family top-notch care. Gretchen was very knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all of our questions, even the ones that may have seemed trivial. My dad was transferred to a different hospital and we soon realized how spoiled we were by having Gretchen.
Although, she was not his assigned nurse for his second hospitalization, she talked to our family, checked on dad and made us feel like she cared. Gretchen does care and deserves recognition for a superb job!”
We are very proud of Gretchen and all she does every day to care for her patients and their families.
