Guadalupe goes above and beyond for all of her staff and co-workers. Lupe is such a positive light to have in the office, even when the clinic is having a rough day, Lupe is always on the lookout for someone who needs help so she can assist. She will step in and room for physicians if the clinic is low on clinicals without ever having to be asked. All while Lupe is helping other clinics with ordering and getting set up until they can hire their own clinical supervisor. Lupe is one of a kind and truly is the light to our office.

Guadalupe is a very dedicated nurse who has moved up from being a triage nurse with general surgery to the clinical supervisor. During the time that I was the manager over that practice, Lupe jumped right in, not only handling phone calls and the in-basket but also rooming patients during the clinic and making sure supplies was available too. Lupe also continued her education to complete her Bachelor of Nursing. Shortly after I was asked to manage the pulmonology practice, she was promoted to the regional nursing supervisor for general surgery group. She has continued to help with clinics, work messages in the in basket, and make sure the clinical team has everything they need in order to function and be successful within their roles. Lupe is excellent at training new clinical staff, has always been very organized, and pays attention to detail. She comes to work every day with a smile on her face and faces each day with an attitude that is positive and infectious. Lupe is very deserving of the DAISY Award for all that she brings to her job and to the clinic. She always puts her patients first and ensures the safety of her team and the patients who come to the clinic. Lupe is a stellar example of compassionate nursing. I am incredibly proud of all that Lupe has accomplished and will continue to accomplish. Her future is very bright!
