Just wanted to let you know how much we all appreciated your stellar care of my father. As a physician, I just want to say that your care was exemplary. You were constantly adjusting the medications and the drips as he was critically ill and on a ventilator. You may recall he was involved in a motor vehicle accident with multiple fractures, then had to be intubated the second day and was on three pressors. He was eventually extubated and was ready to go to rehab when he coded, had CPR performed for 20 minutes, and was back on a ventilator and pressure again. He eventually was extubated and finally went to rehab.

Unfortunately, he died of a probable heart attack. I am sure that you were one of the main reasons that he made it out of the hospital and to rehab. Because of you, we were able to all have time to tell him how loved he was and to say our goodbyes. I will always remember how diligent and dedicated you were to not only my father but to your patients. I will always be grateful for your excellent care. You are an extraordinary nurse.
