We could never thank her enough for giving us peace of mind and the care that she did during a difficult time when we couldn’t be surrounded by our families.
Haley cared for me the day after I delivered my son. I had a challenging pregnancy and a long delivery and unfortunately had a dura puncture. The day Haley cared for me I required a blood patch, a drip, and multiple medications. I was in pain and unable to do anything other than lay flat. My husband was in and out helping me take care of our new baby and our older children at home so Haley took on caring for me and my new baby. She did it with kindness and compassion and it allowed me the space I needed to heal knowing my son was being given the same love and attention I would have given if I were able to. She held my hand and also held him when he cried. She kept up with his feeds and his diapers without being asked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! We could never thank her enough for giving us peace of mind and the care that she did during a difficult time when we couldn’t be surrounded by our families. She worked tirelessly and wouldn’t even think of taking a break and was willing to walk me downstairs herself at shift change because she knew I was excited to go home. She is a gem and a true DAISY Nurse.
